Where are you from?
Bi-coastal, growing up on both the East and West coasts of the U.S.
When and why did you begin writing?
I began writing as soon as I learned how to in first grade. It came naturally.
What books have most influenced your life?
Too many to recount! Am an avid reader, with books increasingly replacing the backs of cereal and juice cartons along the way.
What is your favorite book from childhood? The Princess & The Gobelins
Are the names of the characters in your novels important?
Names would be if I wrote novels, but I write non-fiction books.
What’s your favorite fruit?
How about passion fruit?
Do you ever wish you had an entirely uncreative job?
What are the most important attributes to remaining sane as a writer?
Learning to balance writing with physical activities.
What was the greatest thing you learned at school?
How to organize.
